Planning Appeals
The submission of a planning appeal should always be a last resort, once all other options have been exhausted and should only be pursued if there is sufficient planning reasons to support its submission. If you have received a refusal notice from your Local Planning Authority we can assess if it is appropriate to take the case to appeal. This assessment will usually include examining the submitted documents, the case officers report, the relevant planning policies and the reasons for refusal set out in the Refusal Notice. We will only recommend taking a case to appeal if we consider there is sufficient arguments against the reasons for refusal, to potentially gain a positive outcome. Often the reasons for refusal can be overcome by negotiating with the Local Authority Officers and submitting a revised application. This preferred option should always be exhausted before an appeal is submitted.
