Bespoke Single Detached Residential Dwelling, West Midlands
We were approached by a client who had perviously been refused outline planning permission for one detached dwelling on a site. The site had a limited frontage and a shared access to the west boundary which lead to garages at the rear of several surrounding dwellings. The client had right of access over this shared private driveway. The surrounding area is predominately residential and the site falls slightly to the rear away from the highway.
We appealed against the refusal for outline consent and won the appeal. We were then instructed to negotiate with the Local Planning Authority prior to submitting a Reserved Matters Application. Following pre-application negotiations the reserved matters application was submitted with a supporting levels survey and Design and Access Statement. Planning permission was subsequently granted.
